'SUN (Detail)' - Oil Paint, Aquarelle Pencil on MDF

'SUN' came from a series of two-dimensional work exploring the star as a motif. The motif originally came from late night drawings as then developed into a exploration on the study of the stars historically in astrology. A big inspiration was the 'comet drawing' of Johannes Hevelius (1611-1687).
